Joyell Arscott Consulting works with health organizations, educational institutions, governmental agencies, non-profits, the private sector, and professional governing bodies. We consult for organizations that provide programming or services that targets historically marginalized communities, such as African American , Hispanic and Latinx, Native and Indigenous people, Immigrants and LGBTQIA.
Who We Are
JACS is an organizational change firm led by founder and CEO Dr. Joyell Arscott, Ph.D., BSN, RN, ACRN. With over twenty years of experience working with public health agencies, healthcare organizations, private industries, institutions of higher learning, non-profits, and governmental agencies, JACS has a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
Dr. Arscott founded JACS to guide organizations to understand better the clients' needs to roll out highly effective products. We believe that to increase an organization’s visibility and profitability, organizations need to shift their focus; however, many businesses need guidance on how to start that process. We assist organizations in understanding their position in today’s market and the need to recruit and retain talented staff, all while maximizing efficiency and productivity.
JACS also works with community groups to help “bridge the gap” in equity. We understand that communities need resources to meet the everyday challenges of their residents. We work with community leaders to identify the best path to creating sustainable, positive change.
Our approach empowers companies and communities to embrace diversity and cultivate a culture of belonging, fostering an environment where every voice is valued and heard. The Visionary Behind Us
Dr. Arscott is the owner and CEO of Joyell Arscott Consulting Services. She has over twenty years of experience working with public health and healthcare organizations, private industries, institutions of higher learning, non-profits, and governmental agencies.
Dr. Arscott started the company to help organizations better understand the needs of the clients they serve to roll out highly effective products. She believes that to increase an organization's visibility and profitability, many organizations need to "pivot" to shift their focus. However, many organizations don't know where to start. She saw an opportunity to assist organizations in understanding their position in today's market and the need to recruit and retain talented staff, all while maximizing efficiency and productivity.
Dr. Joyell Arscott earned undergraduate degrees from Towson University, the Community College of Baltimore County, the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and her doctorate from Duke University. She is also adjunct nursing faculty at Johns Hopkins University and the Community College of Baltimore County.
