Position Description
JACS is seeking a Grants and Contracts Manager that can oversee the entire lifecycle of grants and contracts, including proposal development, negotiation, implementation, compliance monitoring, and reporting.
Responsibilities
The Grants and Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing the administration, management, and compliance of grants and contracts within an organization. They ensure that grant-funded projects and contractual agreements are executed efficiently, in compliance with regulations, and aligned with organizational goals.
Coordinate the full lifecycle of grants and contracts, from proposal development and submission to closeout and reporting.
Review grant and contract documents to ensure compliance with funding requirements, organizational policies, and regulatory guidelines.
Monitor grant and contract budgets, expenditures, and deliverables, tracking progress and resolving issues as they arise.
Develop and maintain systems for tracking grant and contract deadlines, milestones, and reporting requirements.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including federal, state, and local requirements, as well as funder-specific guidelines and policies.
Conduct risk assessments and identify potential compliance issues or financial risks associated with grant-funded projects and contracts.
Prepare and review budgets, financial reports, and forecasts for grant-funded projects and contracts.
Serve as the primary point of contact for funders, partners, subcontractors, and other stakeholders involved in grant-funded projects and contracts.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among internal departments, external partners, and funding agencies to ensure project success.
Represent the organization in meetings, conferences, and presentations related to grants and contracts, promoting the organization's mission and goals.
Develop resources, templates, and tools to support grant and contract management processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency across projects.
Qualifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with funding agencies, internal members, and project teams
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of funding regulations and compliance requirements.
