Position Description

JACS is seeking an Intern (health, policy, education, finance) that can contribute fresh perspectives and analytical insights to projects, demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, and adapt quickly to dynamic work environments in their respective field of focus.

Responsibilities 

The Intern will support various projects and initiatives across multiple sectors including health, policy, education, and finance. Working closely with professionals and experts in each field, the intern will gain exposure to diverse areas of work and contribute to research, analysis, program development, and administrative tasks. 

  • Conduct literature reviews and research on topics related to health policy, education reform, financial markets, and economic trends.

  • Analyze data, reports, and policy documents to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities in each sector.

  • Support the development and implementation of health promotion initiatives, education programs, policy advocacy campaigns, and financial literacy initiatives.

  • Assist in coordinating logistics, outreach efforts, and stakeholder engagement activities for various programs and initiatives.

  • Provide administrative support to project managers, program coordinators, and team members, including scheduling meetings, maintaining files, and organizing materials.

  • Assist in managing project documentation, tracking progress, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

  • Help coordinate meetings, conferences, and events related to health, policy, education, and finance.

  • Engage with community members, stakeholders, and partner organizations to raise awareness, gather feedback, and mobilize support for initiatives in each sector.

  • Assist in conducting outreach activities, such as community forums, focus groups, and surveys, to gather input and assess needs in diverse communities.

  • Represent the organization at events, conferences, and meetings 

Qualifications

  • Possession of skills relevant to the internship role, such as research skills, data analysis skills or knowledge of specific software or tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement effective strategies to achieve objectives.

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in work tasks, such as research, data entry, or documentation.
