Position Description

JACS is seeking a Research Associate that can handle various research projects and conduct research analysis.

Responsibilities 

The Research Associate will be responsible for assisting in various research projects and initiatives within the organization and will contribute to the design, implementation, and analysis of research studies, surveys, and experiments.

  • Assist in the design and development of research studies, including defining research objectives, methodologies, and data collection procedures.

  • Conduct reviews and background research to inform study design and methodology.

  • Collect, compile, and analyze data 

  • Prepare research materials such as surveys, interview protocols, and data collection instruments.

  • Assist in recruiting research participants and coordinating data collection efforts.

  • Interpret research findings and assist in preparing reports, presentations, and publications.

  • Contribute to the dissemination of research findings through presentations at conferences, workshops, or seminars.

  • Collaborate with teams to integrate research findings into program development, policy recommendations, or strategic planning.

  • Provide administrative support for research activities, including organizing meetings, maintaining project documentation, and communicating with members.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis software, excellent communication and teamwork abilities

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and make recommendations based on analysis.
