Position Description
JACS is seeking a Subject Matter Expert - Learning Management Systems that can provide comprehensive expertise in the design, implementation, and administration of Learning Management Systems platforms.
Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support in the selection, implementation, and optimization of Learning Management Systems platforms to support organizational learning and development initiatives.
Learning Management System (LMS) selection, configuration, and customization to meet organizational needs and requirements.
Implementation and deployment of LMS platforms, including system integration, data migration, and user training.
Develop and implement LMS policies, procedures, and standards to ensure effective administration and governance of learning programs.
Technical support and troubleshooting assistance to LMS users, including instructors, learners, and administrators.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of LMS usage and learning programs, and recommend improvements based on data and feedback.
Provide training and capacity building support to LMS administrators and instructors on best practices for course design, delivery, and assessment.
Qualifications
Knowledge of instructional design principles and best practices for online learning, as well as experience in developing and delivering training materials.
Should be familiar with integrating multimedia content, assessments, and interactive features into LMS courses to enhance learner engagement and effectiveness.
Experience in user management, content management, system maintenance, and troubleshooting technical issues.
Strong project management skills to oversee LMS implementation projects, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure successful deployment and adoption of the platform.
