Position Description
JACS is seeking a Subject Matter Expert - Statistics that can provide expert guidance and support in statistical analysis, data interpretation, and methodology development.
Responsibilities
This role will play a pivotal role in providing expert guidance and support in statistical analysis, research design, and data interpretation across various projects within our organization.
Provide expert guidance on statistical methodologies and techniques for data analysis.
Conduct advanced statistical analyses using relevant software to analyze complex datasets.
Interpret statistical findings and communicate results effectively to both technical and non-technical.
Contribute to the development of statistical models and algorithms to support decision-making processes.
Review and critique statistical analyses conducted by other team members or external partners.
Participate in the preparation of reports, publications, and presentations for both internal and external audiences.
Qualifications
Have in-depth understanding of statistical concepts, techniques, and software tools, along with a track record of applying statistical methods to solve complex problems in relevant fields.
Should be able to communicate statistical concepts effectively to non-experts and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the rigorous application of statistical principles in research, analysis, and decision-making processes.
